The Illusionist
Went to see this film last night and really enjoyed it. It's a supernatural mystery that combines romance, politics, murder and magic. Costumes and settings are fabulous, supposedly Vienna but filmed in Prague (isn't everything these days!) Do see it.
We found another £10 note in the car park on the way back from the cinema, I also found one the last time we went to the pictures. Now isn't that magic!
Oh andchyldecatcher I didn't forget your programme - have videoed it and will watch it tonight!
Tomorrow off to another UCL Lunch Hour Lecture - Arsenic and Lace - Secret Methods of Old Master Painters. New research has unearthed some surprising tricks and tools used by painters. Sounds fascinating - if I can get Colin out of bed in time!! That was naughty! Actually he is now well on the road to recovery and today seems much his old self (not sure whether that's good or bad!)
