Can't be bothered any more [Sep. 28th, 2009|04:49 pm]
I think I shall be giving LJ postings a miss in future. Nobody seems particularly interested in my boring life and managing photos and LJ cuts are time consuming and frustrating and my life is busy enough as it is.

I shall continue to post any piccies on Facebook where I know I have several friends and family who enjoy them and it's a damn sight more easy to download.

I don't have anything to promote these days so the need to post myself around the world suddenly doesn't seems so important any more.

it s a shame as so easy to miss stuff on Lj but i am not surprised..so much time consuming in here and hardly anyone left...if it wasn't for my mum i would sometimes not spend as much time on photos but i still like it so much more

I'm the same - Facebook is easier to keep up to date with events, pictures and friends. Although I do enjoy writing on here every now and again!

Noooo :-(

Post it here with a feed to facebook.

I like it when FB gets the stuff secondhand.

Well I like reading about your life when I'm on LJ... but I hardly ever have time to comment, so I understand the decision, especially if the other services suit your needs better (and Cecile can always tell me what's going on if I miss it).

I also enjoy reading what you've been up too. But understand about the photo thing! It is much easier on FB. Glad I have an account there to keep up with your adventures.

I echo the above comments! :-) I've lapsed so much in my own LJ updates (ie proper updates rather then the random bounce or whinge!) as I've hardly been using the computer at home and its too much hassle to do at work. Same reason why I've neglected in commenting on anyone's photo-posts, as its not so easy to go through them discretely at work.
Its a shame that so many people are migrating to FB as I do prefer LJ but it is getting quieter and quieter around here.

I like your postings, sorry I mean to comment on some of the envy-inducing pictures you post, up, mean to do it later and then get distracted.

That's a shame, as it's nice to know after all your work in London, that you are having a lovely time in Wales.

Just been very wrapped up in sorting out problem after problem, and wondering if I'll ever sort things out.

Hmm, if and when I get onto facebook, I'll certainly add you, as I'd like to stay in touch, and see what you've been doing.xxx

Well, just to add more fuel to that fire - I love reading your posts and seeing your photos. But I can hardly entreat you to keep posting here, as I myself have fallen into the trap of posting less and less on LJ (though I do still read every entry on my Friends Page).

I must confess that I almost never look at albums on Facebook (as I can't seem to use multiple tabs in Facebook without crashing the internet), whereas I always look at photos on LJ (and follow links) because it's so much easier.

But I understand the hassle of posting on LJ!
