Bishop Otter Campus was not as old as the name suggests. Our room was in this block. The rooms were comfortable

In the refectory roly poly pudding and lashings of custard

Back at school we wait for the itinerary for the weekend

Saturday morning after a good English fry up - all aboard the bus and off to Gosport. Rain fortunately had stopped.

Arrived at the Gosport Submarine Museum. A fascinating place - full of steamy goodness!
The yard full of depth charges and mines

Old submersible

Deep sea diving?

We get to board a submarine

It's so small inside. 60 men lived and worked here

Lots of wheels, dials and levers. A steampunk dream

Escape hatch

The toilets and washing area - although there was very little water for washing.Mostly nobody washed at all whilst at sea.

Tiny kitchen area

Bunks - I've seen more spacious coffins!

Inside the museum - lots of fun buttons and interactive stuff

Nice
Lots of lovely items I would like

Briton's first submarine the Holland I built in 1901 and rescued from the bottom of the sea and restored.
Model of how she would have looked

Inside
